Summary

The OhmNote mobile app works fully offline and collects no personal data. This website collects only what you actively send us through the contact and feedback forms, and (if you use it) messages to the assistant chatbot.

The mobile app

OhmNote runs entirely on your device. It has no accounts, requires no network connection, and does not collect, transmit or sell any personal data, usage analytics, or telemetry.

This website -what we collect

• Contact & feedback forms: the name, email and message you submit. We use these solely to respond to you and to improve the app.
• Assistant chatbot: the messages you type are sent to our AI provider to generate a reply. Don't include sensitive personal information in chat.
• Basic server logs (e.g. IP address, user agent) may be recorded for security and abuse prevention.

How we use it

To reply to enquiries, to triage bugs and feature requests, and to keep the service secure. We do not use your submissions for advertising and we do not sell your data.

Third parties

• AI provider (e.g. OpenAI) -processes chatbot messages to generate replies.
• Email/webhook provider -if configured, used to deliver form notifications.
• These providers process data under their own terms; we share only what's needed for the feature to work.

Data retention

Form submissions are kept as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a support history, then deleted on request. Chatbot messages are not stored by us beyond what's needed to return an answer.

Your rights

You can ask us to access or delete the information you sent via the contact form. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.

Children

The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
